During his time working as a hairdresser/barber in NZ, he realised that New Zealand hairdressers and barbers do not handle scissors with care compared to their Japanese counterparts. Of course not everyone!

Then a few years ago, he had a fateful encounter with Saiki Scissors. He was so impressed with the quality of these scissors that he decided to become the NZ agent for Saiki Scissors. He did this because he wanted New Zealand hairdressers and barbers to experience using these great scissors.

If NZ hairdressers and barbers use good quality scissors,

- Their technique will improve
- Reduces stress
- Environmentally friendly as it can be used for a long time
- How they care for their scissors will change
- Changing the way stylists approach their work
- Assistants are affected by stylists
- Customers who get their hair cut also benefit from feeling good

Kaisei is sure that the whole NZ hairdresser industry will be in good stead.

He would like to encourage many hairdressers and barbers to use the highest quality Saiki Scissors and to take pride in their profession in order to create a cycle of happiness for everyone.

Samurai Sharpener

Kaisei moved to NZ from Tokyo in 2008. Since he started working as a hairdresser in NZ, he had a hard time finding a reliable scissor sharpener. He started thinking that he could master scissor sharpening in Japan himself. He had an opportunity to train at Saiki Scissors in Japan, and now he has confidence in his sharpening technical services.
He hopes many hairdressers and barbers will be pleased with Saiki Scissors and sharpening services.
